The VDT-3100 series cardiac valve durability testers utilize BDC’s *RB-5™ Unique Drive system, coupled to our proprietary *Statys™ closed-loop control and monitoring software to facilitate accurate leaflet response and pressure loading at accelerated frequencies up to and in excess of 30 Hz. BDC’s proprietary drive system allows for Comprehensive Control of the Loading Profile, thus Minimizing Excessive Pressure Spikes during valve closure, creating an accelerated test environment that more closely emulates clinical performance.

Furthermore, the VDT-3100 series utilizes continual monitoring of the real-time differential pressures in all test stations to provide the necessary data to demonstrate adherence to ISO 5840 testing requirements. Additionally, this unique feature enables individual station alarm capabilities to halt the system in case any sample exceeds its loading requirements. Independent station control facilitates evaluation of different sized cardiac valves across the eight stations, while maintaining the appropriate test conditions for each sample. High Speed Imaging of each test sample can be performed via the Aortic Aspect or Perpendicular Views.
