BDC Laboratories radial durability test equipment incorporates our internally developed *RB-5™ Drive System and *Dual-Drive Emulator and all systems are sold with our Proprietary *Statys™ closed-loop control and monitoring software. BDC's pulsatile durability test systems achieve the requirements of many different technologies under a vast array of configurations while meeting international and US test standards ISO 25539 and ASTM F2477.
BDC’s unique RB-5 Drive System, coupled with our Innovative Dual-Drive Emulator produces balanced pressures at either end of the test sample simultaneously, eliminating the need for two drivers. BDC’s Statys closed-loop control and monitoring software allows for real-time continual data acquisition throughout the test period for quality control and system alarms.
Model RDTI-0100, is a complete sample immersion instrument that can accommodate small and large diameter samples (2.5mm to 60mm) as well as short and long vessels (up to 400mm) in many different test configurations including: straight, bifurcated, aortic arch simulation, AAA angulation, and aneurismal models.
Model RDTL-0200, is an optical micrometer based system that enables testing of straight, “U” bend, or bifurcated models with direct measurement of diametric motion by an optical micrometer.
Both test systems can be used to evaluate stents, stent grafts, vascular grafts, occluders, as well as shunts, and can be modified to accommodate bend “U” configurations for coronary applications.
